Due to the high usage and widely acceptance of paytm, it become the main focus area to cheat or hack the customers.
After the KYC sms fraud on paytm, Scammers has found new way and start targeting they KYC users now. Below is the SMS they are sending to KYC users.
What should you do when this happen?
- Don’t panic or call any number mentioned in such msg
- Check the sender name and verify with below names.
- PayTM generally use BPvpaytm as sender name when they send promotional SMS.
- BPiPaytm, ADIPAYTM as sender name when any transaction happen on your account.
- VDIPAYTM as sender name when you add money into your wallet.
- VDPAYTMB when you deposit money into paytm bank account
If your sender name is not among above, Delete and ignore the SMS and inform at below number applicable to you.
