This is my first blog and that too in a technology oriented community !! I cant believe it , because at college I was a girl who never wanted to be in IT profession . But I am IT professional now with almost 13 years of technical experience in TPF assembler technology. Destiny takes or pushes us to places where we are capable of and make us able to handle it.My scenario is one of it, though not of interest I joined this profession I began to love it and give the 100 % on what ever comes my way, either its designing, coding, testing, mentoring, managing a team or taking initiatives.I really feel a sense of pride when I deliver a quality product to the customer or help someone crack a solution for technical or management issues. That's what make a difference in my professional life and that motivates me to move further and achieve more heights!!-- Helen

Are we Females the reason of gender bias

Many times over many blogs and many places we used to read about how the management of companies are gender biased! How they don't want female employees and how they don't promote them. Do you think They are,
1. Orthodox.2. do not have female family members who are working somewhere? 3. Do not understand child values?
4. Don't they know how many female CEOs in the world right now?

I think as soon you start thinking about this you will get replies like, no they are not orthodox. Of course his mother, sister, wife working. Even some of them are in the same organization. So, now I think it's our turn to dig into this and start checking our self. What did we use to do? We used to pass our frustration from place to place. Just remember when you were last in the cafe, or some unofficial meetings, haven't you heard about all the issues some girls have at home? like, I still need to find the cook, Oh! today I have guests, I don't know how I will manage everything.

Now after this, your manager is having some important task to share, he is thinking that you are the best person to do this, but soon he remembers your issues :) and thinks oh she is having too much to do. Let me not disturb her. And as time goes it becomes a general aspect for him that all the girls should be having so many issues :)
Now think from this perspective, your manager might be a single parent. He might be the only child at home taking care of his parents, his inlaws. So have you heard any such issues of him ever?

So Girls! Buckle up you can do it. You don't need to find sympathy. If we are looking for sympathy, we will receive that.

I Always love my self

I do not break the code , i always make code better that my profession Have you tested yourself? Are you with or without error?
I have been in the Software industry for five years and during my five years as a quality engineer I have tested a fair number of products achieving a variety of accomplishments verifying the quality of products along the way. One fine day while I was sitting in the park hearing the beautiful sounds of leaves, birds chirping and people chatting I was struck with an epiphany! Even the human body is developed like software. One of my male colleague always has to comment on my work. This user to annoy me every day. Somehow I wanted to overcome this and tell him that his behavior is bothering me. But as I was very quiet and calm girl, I did not have that strength to attempt. I just wrote a formal email mail and explained him everything, then we had a friendly environment in my office.

I am a girl the small town of Jharkhand. I was not a brilliant student in my school days but an average student. But I was fond of studying. My parents also encouraged and supported me to study and became a successful person . My mathematics was very weak and due to this my father always used to scold me . During my school days I came to know that my father wants me to become anengineer.And I was interested to work in bank or other financial sectors. As I did not want to become an engineer ,I choose economics as one of my subject in my higher secondary along with science stream.My father told me togivethe engineering entrance exams. I gavethe exams after my 12 th board exams. I qualifiedthe exams as well but my score was not good enough to help me out in taking admissions in good or government colleges. My father again told me to prepare for 1 year and give the exam but I denied and told that I will go for simple graduation. But my father finally managed to get me admission in a good private college. My stream was Information Technology and I was having no knowledge of computers. Anyhow I went to the college and tried to learnthe things related to my branch.I got supportmy friends,teachers and seniors.And believe me I did it.I worked hard in my 2nd and 3rd year of my college days.I started getting the things nicely. Our campusing started and the first company to come in our college was Tech Mahendra. I was very sure that I will surely crack it. But unfortunately I couldn't make it. I got really depressed but I still tried.After a week , another company came and I cleared it .Now I am working as a graduate engineer trainee in johnson controls .The journey of mine from becoming an officer in a bank to an engineer in software industry was full of many ups and downs .But this journey was really adventurous and this is just a beginning .A lot more is to happen .......
I am proud to be a girl..........
